Pipe Lining Services
in the East Valley

Pipe lining repairs damaged or aging drain and sewer lines from the inside, often without digging up the yard, driveway, or foundation. A&K provides pipe lining for East Valley homes and businesses dealing with cracked, corroded, or root damaged pipe.

Digging up a yard, driveway, or slab to replace a damaged sewer or drain line is disruptive and expensive, and it isn't always necessary. Pipe lining repairs the line from the inside in many cases, which can restore the pipe without the full excavation a traditional replacement requires.

What Is Pipe Lining?

Pipe lining, also called drain pipe lining, repairs a damaged pipe from the inside rather than digging it up and replacing it. A new lining material is installed inside the existing pipe, which restores the interior surface and structure of the line without the excavation a full pipe replacement usually requires.

What Pipes Can Be Lined?

Traditional pipe replacement usually means trenching along the length of the damaged line, which often means torn up landscaping, driveways, or hardscape that has to be repaired afterward. On average, that process takes about two days for the demo and repair alone, plus the time put-back takes depending on how much of the property was disturbed.

Pipe lining can often address the same problem from the inside, with far less disruption to the property. For a typical spot or line repair, including jetting and descaling the line, pulling the new liner through, and letting it cure, the entire process usually takes 4 to 8 hours, and in most cases there's no put-back work needed afterward.

It isn't the right fit for every situation. The line needs to be evaluated first to determine whether lining is possible or whether replacement is still the better option.

A&K's pipe lining process works on 2, 3, and 4 inch lines, covering the typical pipe sizes found in most East Valley homes. It's suitable across a range of materials, including ABS, cast iron, Orangeburg, and clay, the materials most commonly found in older residential plumbing systems.

Signs You May Need Pipe Lining

A pipe with early stage cracking or root intrusion doesn't always cause problems right away. Left alone, that kind of damage tends to get worse over time and can eventually lead to a collapsed line or a sewer backup. Addressing it while lining is still an option can help avoid a more disruptive and costly repair later.

  • Root intrusion in an older sewer line

  • Cracked, corroded, or collapsing pipe

  • Recurring sewer backups despite jetting or snaking

  • Aging clay, cast iron, or Orangeburg pipe

  • Sewer line issues common in older East Valley neighborhoods

Catching Damage Before It Becomes an Emergency

The A&K Process

It starts with a call to A&K or a request submitted online. From there, we schedule a time to inspect the line and assess whether pipe lining is a good fit or whether the situation calls for a different repair. We'll walk through what we find and provide a clear estimate before any work begins. If pipe lining isn't the right approach for your line, we'll say so rather than defaulting to it.
