What Can We Help You With?
Tankless Water Heater Installation
Thinking about going tankless? A gas tankless water heater heats water as you use it, so it doesn't run out partway through a shower, and it takes up less space than a tank. We install gas tankless units, usually Navien, and help you decide whether tankless fits your home.
Hydro Jetting
Drain backing up again after it was cleared? The problem is usually deeper in the line: grease, buildup or roots. Hydro jetting clears what snaking leaves behind, and we camera the line before and after, so you see the cause and see that it's clear.
Pipe Lining and Sewer Line Repair
Sewer line cracked or full of roots? It doesn't always mean digging up the yard. Pipe lining repairs 2" to 4" lines from the inside, including cast iron, clay and Orangeburg. Most repairs take 4 to 8 hours and come with a 1-year warranty on the repair and labor.
Water Heater Repair and Replacement
No hot water, or running out too fast? Most hot water problems come down to an aging tank, sediment or a part that has failed. We repair and replace gas and electric tank water heaters. East Valley hard water is tough on them, so we recommend a yearly flush.
Leak Detection and Slab Leak Repair
Water bill jumped, or a warm spot on the floor? Hidden leaks often show up that way first, or as low water pressure. Slab leaks are common in Arizona homes built on concrete slabs. We find the leak, then explain whether a repair, a reroute or a repipe makes the most sense.
Whole-House Repiping
Same pipes leaking again and again? When one leak leads to another, replacing the pipes can cost less than repairing them one at a time. AJ has more than 20 years of repiping experience. We replace every in-wall part of the system and handle the drywall repair and paint afterward.
AC and Heating Repair
AC can't keep up with the heat, or the heater won't start? We repair, replace and install AC and heating systems, sized to your home and Arizona's cooling load rather than to whatever was there before. Maintenance plans help prevent breakdowns during the summer.
Electrical Panels and Wiring
Breakers that keep tripping, or a panel that needs replacing? We replace panels, repair circuits, run new wiring and rewire whole homes. Because we're licensed for plumbing and HVAC as well, a new circuit for a water heater or AC unit is handled by the same company.

-

Free estimates are part of the standard A&K process for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical work in Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and Apache Junction. We will walk you through what we are seeing, explain the options that actually apply to your situation, and give you a clear estimate before any work begins. If you are dealing with an urgent plumbing or HVAC issue, give us a call right away at 602-905-3990. Same-day and emergency service availability depends on current scheduling and the nature of your issue, but we want to hear from you when something is urgent. Burst pipes, active leaks, water heater failures, no AC during Arizona summer heat, and other time-sensitive issues are exactly the kinds of calls we want to prioritize when we have the capacity to do so.
-
A&K Plumbing, Mechanical and HVAC was built by tradesmen, not marketers. Our approach is grounded in three principles: we focus on fixing the actual problem rather than upselling things you do not need, we put our energy into the quality of the work on the jobsite rather than into sales tactics, and we treat customers the way we want to be treated, with clear communication and respect for your time and home. We bring plumbing experience dating back to 2005, HVAC experience dating back to 1989, and a commercial mechanical background that includes high-capacity industrial systems, country club service contracts, and complex chilled water and boiler work. That depth of field experience is what lets us look at a problem from every angle, find the actual source rather than just the symptom, and recommend a fix that will hold up over time.
-
Yes. Some problems show up in ways that overlap plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, especially when a symptom points to something larger underneath. If you are not sure whether your issue is a plumbing leak, an HVAC condensate problem, a slab leak, a water heater concern, or something else entirely, give A&K a call at 602-905-3990 or submit a request through the contact form. We will help you talk through what is happening, share what it might be, and figure out the right next step. There is no pressure to commit to anything before we have looked at the problem.
