Plumbing
From leak detection and drain cleaning to water heaters, reverse osmosis systems, repiping, gas lines, and remodel plumbing, we help solve both urgent plumbing problems and bigger long-term concerns.
HVAC
Arizona heat puts a heavy strain on heating and cooling systems. We provide HVAC support designed to improve comfort, performance, and system reliability for homes and businesses.
Electrical
Panel replacements, circuit repairs, new wiring, and whole-home rewiring for homes and businesses. A&K holds a separate Arizona electrical license, so we can handle it all: electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC.
Mechanical
Mechanical work often requires broader coordination across systems, equipment, and trades. We bring practical field knowledge and project awareness to more complex scopes of work.
Our Team
The Team Behind the Work
AJ Frederick
OWNER & CO-FOUNDER
AJ has spent more than 20 years in occupied-building plumbing. He worked his way from scheduling and bidding to project management, junior partner and regional sales director, and he holds a Colorado Master Plumber license. He's your point of contact on every commercial project.
Kent Hamilton
CO-FOUNDER
Kent brings nearly 40 years of HVAC and mechanical service and installation. His work spans homes, public and private schools, hospitals and medical facilities, aerospace and defense manufacturers, and grocery and food packaging plants. It includes design-build projects, low and ultra-low temperature systems down to -70°C, and chilled water systems from process coolers to plants of several thousand tons. He leads A&K's HVAC and mechanical work.
TOGETHER, THEY BRING NEARLY 60 YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE.
Our Process
What to Expect When You Call
You'll talk to our office, and we'll schedule a time to look at the problem. Most diagnostic visits take about an hour. Smaller jobs, like water heaters, softeners and fixtures, usually take 2 to 3 hours. Larger jobs, like pipe lining or a tankless conversion, take half a day to a full day.
